How about some flavors of kiwi and lime that give you a zap of zing that makes your lips pucker! This refreshing little smoothie does just that.
Throw in some kale or spinach and you have got yourself some serious nutrition and hydration. This kiwi lime smoothie so is quick and easy to blend up and really hits the spot on these nice warm days.
1/2 cup filtered water
2 kiwi, cut in half with skins removed
1 lime, juiced
1 cup kale (or spinach)
1 frozen banana
1 cup of ice cubes
1 Tbs grass fed gelatin (cold water soluble)
1. Throw all ingredients into your high speed blender and blend until smooth.
2. Adjust your water or ice depending on your desired consistency. Makes 1 large smoothie.
3. Enjoy immediately :)
