I am a huge fan of Sambazon products and stock their products regularly in my refrigerator. I love the flavor of Acaí and the health benefits are a bonus. All of Sambazon's products are organic, non-GMO, so if course I feel great about that. Recently, Sambazon reached out to me and generously sent me some of their products to sample. Needless to say, that absolutely thrilled me and I was eager to create some new recipes with them.
Sambazon sent me some of their new Sambazon 100 Juices. The varieties vary from 60-100 calories per bottle are and 100% juice. The sugar content ranges from 5-11 grams per bottle. Pretty impressive, right? They taste delicious too! So my first order of business was to create a new smoothie using one of these juice bottles. Since I am a sucker for tropical vibes (just try to keep me away from Hawaii!), my recipe uses the Pineapple + Coconut + Acaí Berry variety.
This smoothie recipe is a keeper! The tropical flavors really stand out and if you close your eyes, you can picture yourself sipping your smoothie on a beach surrounded by palm trees. The other flavors are simply delicious as well.
1 Sambazon 100 juice bottle (Pineapple, Coconut, Acaí flavor)
1 cup frozen organic mango
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 frozen banana
1 Tbs grass-fed gelatin (green label)
1 Tbs hemp seeds
Toppings- unsweetened coconut and bee pollen
1. Place all of your ingredients into your high speed blender and blend until smooth.
2. Adjust your smoothie consistency if necessary. I like mine pretty thick so this ratio works well for me. But if you prefer a thinner consistency, add some filtered water to the mix.
3. Top the smoothie with some shredded coconut and bee pollen if desired. Makes two small smoothies or one large smoothie.
